    Service Manager - Rola Motor City Somerset West

    • As a trusted dealer of prestigious vehicle brands such as Mitshubishi, Honda, Volvo, Mazda, and Mahindra, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service and maintaining long-term customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to lead our service department and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • A valid driver's license.
    • Proven experience as a Service Manager within the automotive industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of automotive service operations, including maintenance, repairs, and warranty processes.
    • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, employees, and vendors.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
    • Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications related to automotive service operations.

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
    • Ensure efficient scheduling and allocation of resources to maximize productivity and minimize customer wait times.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance service department performance, including process improvements and training programs.
    • Maintain and monitor service quality standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.
    • Oversee the customer service experience by providing accurate estimates, effective communication, and timely updates on service progress.
    • Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations, improve interdepartmental communication, and achieve company goals.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate actions.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, service procedures, and technical advancements to ensure the department remains at the forefront of automotive service excellence.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
