The role of the Service Operational Specialist is critical to Africa LS Field Operation. He / She is a strong and close partner to the METAI Service Leader and the Service Leader and team in Africa.
He / She builds and deploys a through tactical plan leading to strong operational plan for entire Africa region, including innovation and connectivity initiatives, enabling teams to sell more profitable services with a focus on recurring revenue. This will be achieved creating competition and market intelligence for services, collaborating with Sales teams and maximizing the value extraction from our current and future installed base. As a result of this the position will be the customer’s trusted advisor and key competition differentiator for the sales teams.

Strategic areas:
Team up with local sales and Service teams to improve customer experience.
Listen to VOCs and transform data into tangible action for improvement.
Provide critical information to METAI Service leader.
Seize the opportunities unveiled with level of effort, revenue potential and time to market.
Drive service operation initiatives and position as market differentiators.

Beckman Life Sciences METAI Services Leader
Main interactions:
Customers, FSE’s and their supervisors , Regional Sales Leaders and Senior Managers, Global Tech support and Global marketing Teams.
Key Success Factors:
Ability to structure articulated meaningful plans with clear AP.
Business understanding and frequent interactions with customer being involved in the day to day of our field associates.
Drive change, and be the transformation agent to bring our business to the next level.
Positive attitude with demonstrated Problem Solving skills.
Address issues immediately.
Strong business acumen.
Strong team player.
Mastering priority management.
Able to handle sensitive customer issues/situations and pressure.
Ability to work in a demanding environment, and used to balance the “urgent vs important”.
Education / Skills:
Bachelor degree / MBA or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal / written communication skills and leadership.
Language: Fluent English.
