This role is responsible for dealing with all queries by the JSE in relation to settlement; ensuring that all transactions are settled in terms of the Rules and Directives of the JSE; advising the JSE of any issue that may potentially impact on the settlement of a transaction; and co-operating with the settlement authority to ensure the efficient and timeous settlement of all transactions.
Responsibilities:
Review and action of settlement reports
Monitor DSTAT intraday and follow up on the T+1 non commits
Notification and reporting to SA
Monitor reverse substitution account daily for re booking of non-controlled transactions (T+2)
Reconcile interest and penalties with JSE SA
Processing and settlement of bond trades
Settlement execution of all unlisted share transactions
Processing of transfer fees and STT
Capturing and updating loans on BDA and loan agreements
Pledging/Unpledging and reconciliations (SCRIPFIN)
