Shared Services Training and Support Officer at Mediclinic

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• To develop, facilitate and assess the system and process learning support material and interventions and provide support during the implementation of systems and process improvement projects, including hospital commissioning

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Analyse learning and development needs
• Design and implement learning support material
• Facilitate and assess learning processes
• Provide system and process support

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: 

• Human Resouce Management Certificate

DESIRED EDUCATION:

• Certificate in instructional design or training 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 

• Experience in business processes and/or Training and Development

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 

• Work experience in business process environment
• Background in development of training material and facilitation

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Adult Learning Principles
• Group facilitation tools, techniques, technologies (including e-learning tools and technology) and best practices
• Mediclinic Learning and Development Policies and Procedures
• Relevant business process policies and procedures
• Computer systems and software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office Packages, relevant Payroll systems, Madcap FLARE, SuccessFactors and relevant SAP modules)
• Workplace assessment
• Kirkpatrick levels of evaluation
• Training needs analysis, design and evaluation
• Formatting and styling of learning support material
• Instructional Design (ADDIE model) and the application thereof
• Understanding of the organisation’s operations, the interrelatedness of relevant systems and processes (with emphasis on human resources and related systems)
