Shareholder Identification Analyst (EMEA) at IHS Markit

Your Role

If you are an analytical thinker with ideas and insight to help EMEA issuers engage with global institutional investors, this job is for you.

We are looking for an Associate, within the EMEA Corporate Advisory Team to:

• Provide clients with actionable insight into activities of global institutional investors

• Develop and maintain advisory relationships with the investor relations and executive teams of clients

• Work together with researchers and analysts globally to identify shareholders of the client

• Use analytical databases and proprietary information to support clients target and engage with institutional investors

• Deliver regular and ad hoc reports to clients on institutional investor activities in the market as well as market impacting topics

• Participate in the growth and improvement of the team’s service offering to clients

About You

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience

• Strong communication skills

• Knowledge of the equity markets, investor relations experience desirable

• Strong team player who thrives under pressure and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

• Strong Excel skills or data analytical tools such as Alteryx or Power BI

• Analytical and have strong problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated, takes initiative and enjoys new challenges

• Comfortable in working in a dynamic and global environment with colleagues from diverse backgrounds

• Ideally 1-3 years work experience or equivalent

• You will be assigned key clients that you will be responsible for and will be able to build strong relationships with IR executives at top European firms

• IHS Markit's proprietary data will be available to conduct analysis and to build new insight into what is going on in the market. You will have opportunity to publish analytical pieces and give presentations, to build a reputation in the industry

• Training sessions are available giving your insight into the newest global IR industry topics, developments in ESG, to IHS Markit's economists views on the world economy
