    SHEQ Administrator

    Minimum Requirements    

    • National Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
    • SAMTRAC / NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent in SHEQ field
    • National Diploma in a Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality related field or equivalent will be an advantage
    • Experience of implementing SHEQ in multiple / complex environments.
    • Exposure to and understanding of implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Food safety Acts, Environmental Acts, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001
    • Fair and consistent interpretation and application of SHEQ regulations, procedures, statutory requirements & ISO SHEQ standards.
    • Proficient in various computer programs such as MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
    • Data analysis and research skills.
    • Ability to easily navigate SHEQX software.
    • Leadership skills, a commitment to teamwork and a team-based environment, and employee empowerment.
    • Must use own initiative, self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
    • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in SHEQ.
    • Vehicle and a valid driver licence, an added advantage

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Log and Manage training conducted nationally
    • Consolidate Business reports for the Group SHERQ Manager
    • Back-office support for SHEQX (Review/ update documentation to ensure current documents are in place, including central folder)
    • Item procurement for the Department (anything from stationery to training equipment)
    • Attend and take minutes in the SHEQ / Ops National engagement Meetings
    • Arrange and coordinate Departmental meetings and functions / activities
    • Assist Sales with SHEQ information during bid processes
    • Manage all COID related matters and do reconciliation of MVA numbers between Fleet & SHEQ
    • Check and monitor incident information quality and drive improvement through the teams
    • Prompt response to work requests to support site / regional management and clients.
