Shift Coordinator (Randfontein) at RCL Foods

Our Talent Team is on the hunt for a Shift Coordinator for their Grocery Division. The role will be based in Randfontein and will report into the Unit Manager.

The Shift Coordinator will be responsible to manage employees on shift, ensure the production output as per planned production and safety of all people and equipment on site.

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12 is required.
• Operations/Production qualification (advantageous).
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a production environment.
• Working knowledge on MS Office.
• Must have supervisory experience.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Ensure manufacturing of good quality products.
• Check that information about tons/lab results/moisture level/shift results (machinery, employees, breakdowns) is correctly completed by the operator.
• Ensure clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure machinery are operating at optimum level.
• Operate the deodorizer.
• Supervise cleaners/operators on shift.
• Request DMS.
• Check, correct and submit timesheet.
