Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

• Installation of service infrastructure
• Safe achievement of production and quality targets in line with DMR, M&RC and client requirements
• Section compliance with SHEQ and M&RC and client standards, policies and procedures
• Effective planning, organising, leading and control within area of responsibility
• Effective supervision of drill rig operators to ensure adherence to work schedule.
• Shaft operational and logistics management
• Operational co-ordination of labour
• Risk management
• Safety management
• Financial and budget management
• Effective self and team management in alignment with M&RC’s values
• Client relationship management

Minimum requirements

• Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
• Grade 12
• Blasting certificate
