Short-Term Insurance Consultant (Transport Industry): Bloemfontein at FS Personnel Recruitment

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• RE5 qualification (Essential)
• NQF Level 5 qualification (Advantageous)
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience within the Short-Term Insurance industry (non-negotiable)
• Experience in the Transport and Logistics industry will be highly advantageous
• Goods-in-Transit insurance experience will be highly beneficial
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (speak, read and write)
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide professional advice on Short-Term Insurance products.
• Manage and maintain an existing portfolio of commercial and transport clients.
• Identify clients’ insurance needs and recommend appropriate cover.
• Prepare quotations and policy comparisons.
• Process new business, policy amendments, renewals, and cancellations.
• Assist clients with Goods-in-Transit insurance requirements.
• Liaise with insurers regarding quotations, underwriting, and policy amendments.
• Assist clients with claims administration and follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with FAIS legislation and company policies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and grow the client portfolio.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and legislative changes.
