MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Matric certificate/ equivalent
• Competent B Certificate
• Valid Drivers’license
• Medically Fit

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• 3 years of Experience as a Shotcrete Operator in Underground Mining
• Knowledge of concrete placement and finishing
• Competence in the use of hand and power tools
• Effective Communication skills
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the placement and finishing of concrete
• Prepare and set up formwork, molds, and shuttering for concrete structures
• Work closely with the construction team to ensure accurate and timely installation
• Monitor the quality and integrity of the formwork
• Perform minor maintenance on tools and equipment
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures
• Charging development heardings and production stopes
