Responsibilities

Job Overview: Ensure grain is off-loaded to the right hopper. Ensure grain is transferred to the correct bin.
- Ensure grain is off-loaded to the right hopper
- Ensure grain is transferred to the correct bin
- Ensure intake magnets are clean
- Attend to intake scales
- Record and report scale number when bin is full
- Check and maintain the intake system
- Clear up chokes generated
- Start and stop intake system
- Perform general duties when the system is not running
- Sample taking and grading per load
- Housekeeping
- Adhere to safety requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification [Recognition of Prior Learning [RPL] will be applied based on SETA accreditations
- 6 months’ experience in a similar environment will be advantageous
- Health and safety standards
