Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Agent to oversee and manage construction projects in the civil engineering industry.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of project operations, including monitoring construction progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• The Site Agent will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise, and oversee construction projects from start to finish
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
• Monitor and report on construction progress to project managers
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Manage project budgets and timelines
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
• Communicate effectively with all project team members
• Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering with NQF 5 Labour intensive construction methods certificate
• 3 – 6 years’ experience in civil
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Proficiency in project management software
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
