Site and Service Representative (Limpopo) at Afrimat

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum 5 - 10 years’ experience in aggregate/readymix concrete industry
• Be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and be deadline driven

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited not):

• Ensure optimum truck delivery scheduling is maintained
• Ensure safe passage and delivery environment for delivery vehicles to and from on site
• Ensure correct delivery address is viewed and confirmed day before against quantities and product ordered
• Ensure product integrity is maintained during delivery cycle
• Ensure customer testing is done as per required test method
• Liaise with each delivery point responsible person
• Assist his senior in reasonable tasks delegated
• Able to provide technical and operational support to customers
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for staff and drivers
• Sound knowledge of the building and construction industry
• Knowledge of the readymix industry
• Understanding of technical and selling environments and industrial selling environments
• People, communication and negotiating skills
• Confidant
• To plan, organise, motivate and control the concrete deliveries on customer site and to co-ordinate
