• Interface with contractors

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update schedules
• Ensure utilization of the Project standard schedule templates
• Responsible for Project level  schedule
• Attend relevant project meetings when asked
• Provide Planning, scheduling and progress report requirements to be included in the RFQ documentation and the time management section of the Project Execution / Philosophy / Strategy / Plan
• Provide progress reports to Project management / Construction Manager
• Update Scheduling Templates
• Evaluate Contractor’s Project Control Systems
• Provide Schedule assumptions document
• Assess Contractors schedules
• To carry out additional tasks regarding scheduling and reporting not listed herein that may be required or requested by the Project Manager / Construction Manager
• Accountable for Scheduling and updating as required by Project Manager / Construction Manager
• Strategic Planning
• “S” Curves for all contractors within the project to measure actual progress against the base line planned progress
• Forecasts of possible delays and action plans developed
• Create Critical Path for the project and contractors
• 2 week look ahead for each and everyone working on the project
• 4 week look ahead when requested by project team
• Fabrication & Delivery Schedule with Key hold dates for QC inspection
• Construction schedule, including Commissioning, handover phases & subcontract Schedules
• Management Report – Show schedule dates, baseline dates, Variance and Forecast dates.

Requirements

Qualifications

• National Diploma
• PMP Scheduling P3-P6
• Extensive Project Planning in a Project Environment

Experience 

• Planning experience of at least 5 years on Mining related or execution projects
• MS Projects
• Scheduler / Planner
• Project Management
• EPCM Consulting
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
• Primavera (Will be advantageous)
