Main Purpose of Job:

• Leads development of systems architectures and Integration, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers. 
• Takes full responsibility for ensuring that systems architectures balance functional, service quality and systems management requirements and costs. 
• Ensures that appropriate standards (corporate, industry, national and international) are adhered to. 
• Within a business change programme, manages the programme's target design, policies and standards, working proactively to achieve stable, viable designs, and ensuring consistency of design across projects within the programme. 
• Defines the migration path from current mode of operation to the future mode.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrated Systems adherence to Global systems standard practices as set by DSYG.
• To ensure a stable project execution platform for all the Engineering/Project System with an average of 99.6% uptime availability.
• Maintain and manage server infrastructure within the location.
• Develop / Maintain leading systems to improve delivery of projects.
• Maintain and support all database platforms with in the Engineering systems group (MSSQL\Oracle\Access).
• Manage development of all internal Engineering systems.
• Ensures that standards and procedures for the effective integration of systems into operational services are developed, maintained and adhered to.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Education:

• Informatics Certificate\Diploma.
• Professional accreditation from recognized IT institute. Certifications on Engineering Systems.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in information systems
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in database management systems (Oracle\MSSQL)
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Systems integration
• Advance knowledge of Databases\Scripting
• Advance knowledge of programming
• Professional accreditation from recognised IT institute.
