    Snr Specialist: Special Projects and Network Quality (S4)

    Core Description    

    • Accountable for the development and communication of the Network Architecture and Modelling operational strategy. Responsible for coordinating, controlling and setting of standards for the following functional areas: Telecommunication Network and Service Key Performance Indicators, aggregation and reporting of statistics including fault analysis, network growth planning and provisioning in terms of capacity management. Drives progression towards a Digital Transformation model focused on unlocking the benefits of strategic initiatives to achieve improved network efficiencies, resilience and customer experience.

    Job Responsibilities    

    •  Responsible to develop and assist the Executive Network Architecture and Modelling in determining the overall long-term operational strategy
    •  Scan internal and external environment for technology, business and operating model trends to maintain and implement a world class operational environment
    •  Develop presentations on strategy, tactical and operational direction of to achieve New Generation Operations model
    •  Co-ordinate all strategic, technical and services improvement initiatives / projects in support of the Network Architecture and Modelling business plans
    •  Provide support and alignment to strategic projects led from other parts of Openserve
    •  Build strategic relationships with relevant stakeholders by networking with various strategic role players
    •  Represent Network Architecture and Modelling at various coordinating and governance bodies, to contribute towards and influence New standards and processes as well as ensure the alignment of the section to industry best practices.
    •  Responsible for all Programme Management tasks for business planning, strategic projects, and process re-engineering
    •  Ensure evaluation and enhancement of all processes in Network Architecture and Modelling
    •  Ensure actions are in place to defend customer base, drive strategic objectives
    •  Coordinate all Risk related activities in the Network Architecture and Modelling organisation
    •  Ensure legal and governance compliance measures
    •  Accountable for adherence to budget and spend thereof
    •  Drive EE/AA/ Diversity targets for team
    •  Manages people performance and development
