Social Media Graphic Designer – Sandton, Gauteng at FS Personnel Recruitment

• This is a Full-time | Office-based role for an experienced Social media Graphic designer with a strong graphic design background and hands-on experience in filming, video editing and social media content creation. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating dynamic, engaging and on-trend content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

Salary: R20 000 – R25 000 CTC per month, depending on experience

Desired experience and requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design/ Visual Communication
• Graphic design background with experience in film and photography
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Basic knowledge of After Effects and/or Premiere Pro
• Strong understanding of graphic design principles, including layout, typography, colour, composition and brand consistency
• Experience creating social media content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other platforms
• Practical experience with filming, video editing, Reels, TikToks and short-form video content
• Strong understanding of current social media trends and content formats
• Comfortable combining graphic design, photography, filming and video to create engaging social media content

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

• Create dynamic and engaging social media content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other platforms
• Develop creative, on-trend content ideas relevant to current social media audiences
• Create a high volume of graphic design content for social media, including posts, stories, advertisements and promotional material
• Design digital and print marketing materials, brochures, advertisements and website graphics
• Film, edit and produce Reels, TikToks and other short-form video content
• Assist with filming and content creation for products, campaigns and launches
• Take and edit product and lifestyle photographs
• Assist with product photography and videography
• Create animations and other digital content
• Combine graphic design, photography, video and creative concepts to produce engaging social media campaigns
• Stay up to date with social media trends, formats and emerging content opportunities
• Use AI tools to support creative ideation and content development
• Ensure all content remains visually consistent with the brand
• Work closely with the marketing and design team to develop fresh and engaging campaigns
