The successful candidate will be a self-motivated leader with a track record of expertise in social media. They must have an avid desire to learn and explore emerging trends and must be confident in their ability to make a statement regarding the direction of social media.
Responsibilities:
Acting as the key social media representative of the agency
Participating in the brainstorming and development of social media opportunities
Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices
Scale the social media function: set-up the department for expansion, hire team members and structure the team, build rock solid processes and frameworks
In conjunction with the Data and Strategy teams, develop clear, measurable goals and performance metrics for all social channels; monitoring and reporting on regularly to optimise
Educating co-workers from other disciplines on our social media capabilities and experience
Manage a team of Social and Community Managers.
Requirements:
Enthusiastic and energetic
Passionate about networking, social media landscape, relationship building, and working with different disciplines across the agency
Naturally motivated and self-directed
Demonstrated leadership skills
Knowledge of relevant social media platforms and publishing tools, as well as experience with influencer marketing are essential skills
