Social Performance Specialist (Community Health) at Anglo American

Job Description
As Social Performance Specialist (Community Health) you will be required to:

• Lead on and facilitate the implementation of the Anglo American Social Way 3.0 policy requirements
• Support the development and implementation of the community health interventions

Qualifications
Education required:

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in relevant community health-related field (medicine, nursing, public health, epidemiology or other health sciences related fields).
• Desirable: a post-graduate qualification in public health or related

Knowledge & Experience required:

• At least five (5) years of professional experience working in community health or the health sector.
• Experience of participating in Health Impact Assessment studies (desirable)
• Experience in any of the extractive (highly desirable), forestry or major infrastructure sectors.
• Experience in developing, implementing or managing community health programmes or plans.
• Experience working in partnerships with governments, academia or civil society organisations at a national, provincial or local level (desirable).
• Experience developing and delivering training or professional development programmes.

Other requirements:

• Regular regional travel will be required
