Softgel Operator at Nurture Brands

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure and verify that materials and supplies meet the right quality for operations as per job requirements.
• Facilitate the movement of raw materials to/from the production area (including returns and supply to machines).
• Assist in moving production waste to designated disposal areas.
• Maintain high GMP standards by performing housekeeping and sanitation of equipment and the production area per SOP.
• Complete production-related paperwork accurately (Checklists, Logs, Reports, MES) according to SOP and templates.
• Open production lines and complete all relevant documentation according to SOP.
• Perform pre-operation tasks to ensure proper equipment startup and operation across multiple machines per SOP.
• Operate and monitor line equipment to ensure efficient, quality production with minimal downtime, adhering to SOP.
• Adjust machinery as needed for changeovers or varying production requirements, following SOP.
• Complete planned production runs within specified timeframes, conducting product quality checks (IPC) and providing updates to supervisors

Requirements: 

• Grade 12, preferably with Math’s 
• Previous Softgel/FMCG experience 
• At least 1 year experience in a GMP production environment 
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP 
• Knowledge of health and safety
• N2 relevant technical qualification and a valid Reach Truck/Forklift license will be advantageous 
• High quality, safety and results focus 
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Willing to work 12 Hour Shifts.
