• OS Server Support (Microsoft Platforms)

Responsibilities: 

Monitoring of Encapsulation Department

• Monitor weights, capsules, and liquid fills.
• Perform fill mass, moisture, thickness, and viscosity tests.
• Conduct visual inspections of item codes and packaging integrity.

Monitoring of Tableting Department

• Monitor tablet weights.
• Perform disintegration, hardness, thickness, and friability tests.
• Conduct visual inspections of item codes and product integrity.

Monitoring of Packaging Department

• Inspect packed units for empty cavities, broken contents, and discrepancies.
• Conduct leak tests on blister-sealed packaging.
• Confirm stock codes, batch numbers, expiry dates, and bulk descriptions.
• Apply processes to various packaging types (blisters, doy packs, glass, plastic).
• Conduct visual inspections of item codes and packaging integrity.

Requirements

• Grade 12.
• Production floor experience in a GMP facility.

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure and verify that materials and supplies meet the right quality for operations as per job requirements.
• Facilitate the movement of raw materials to/from the production area (including returns and supply to machines).
• Assist in moving production waste to designated disposal areas.
• Maintain high GMP standards by performing housekeeping and sanitation of equipment and the production area per SOP.
• Complete production-related paperwork accurately (Checklists, Logs, Reports, MES) according to SOP and templates.
• Open production lines and complete all relevant documentation according to SOP.
• Perform pre-operation tasks to ensure proper equipment startup and operation across multiple machines per SOP.
• Operate and monitor line equipment to ensure efficient, quality production with minimal downtime, adhering to SOP.
• Adjust machinery as needed for changeovers or varying production requirements, following SOP.
• Complete planned production runs within specified timeframes, conducting product quality checks (IPC) and providing updates to supervisors

Requirements: 

• Grade 12, preferably with Math’s 
• Previous Softgel/FMCG experience 
• At least 1 year experience in a GMP production environment 
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP 
• Knowledge of health and safety
• N2 relevant technical qualification and a valid Reach Truck/Forklift license will be advantageous 
• High quality, safety and results focus 
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Willing to work 12 Hour Shifts.

Requirements:

Responsibilities: 

Production Coordination:

• Plan and oversee production activities to meet weekly and monthly targets.
• Supervise line operations, manage startups, shutdowns, and changeovers, and coordinate with other departments for smooth workflow.

Machine and Maintenance Oversight:

• Perform technical machine adjustments and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Support preventative maintenance with Engineering.

Quality and Food Safety Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to GMP, BRC, HACCP, ISO 22000, and TGA standards.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and enforce PPE usage and SOPs. Prepare for audits and uphold high quality and housekeeping standards.

Team Leadership and Performance:

• Motivate and manage staff through effective communication, training, performance management, and adequate staffing.
• Complete HR admin tasks and performance reviews on time.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Submit timely and accurate reports (e.g., production, yield, OEE) and act on deviations.
• Conduct investigations and update SOPs as needed.

Health & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with OHS Act and company safety protocols.
• Confirm all safety devices are operational, and procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent. 
• Ops Management qualification advantageous.
• National Diploma in Engineering: Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical
• Post-basic Pharmacist assistant qualification advantageous..
