Translate software requirements into workable programming code. Maintain and develop programs to use in the business.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to verify requirements prior to design.
• Design, develop, and test solutions.
• Identify and correct errors, bugs, and faults. Escalate where necessary, ensuring no resulting delays.
• Deploy solutions and provide post implementation support.
• Provide support of functional system enhancements and changes according to user requests.
• Document all plans, processes and results, ensuring that work instructions are up-to date
• Provide advice or specialized services and integrated solutions to web and application areas, ensuring optimal usage.
• Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards to better own efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma in an Information Technology related field is compulsory (a degree would be advantageous).
• 3 professional certifications to demonstrate the knowledge of computer-programming languages.
• 3-5 years of experience in a development or programming environment.
• Demonstrated advanced experience in the development and scripting of web applications.
• Demonstrated advanced experience in the development of integrations and APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of at least 2 business system, e.g. ERP, CRM, etc.
