Our client is a UK-based company looking for a Solar Energy Sales Manager to join their new team in Stellenbosch, South Africa. They pride themselves on designing and providing cost-efficient solar panels and they always go the extra mile to ensure their after-sales service is excellent.

As Solar Energy Sales Manager, you need to be someone who has vision and can drive the building of their local sales department. 

Job Type: Full-Time | Office-based

Requirements

The ideal candidate is someone who has:

• A relevant degree in business would be advantageous

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as sales manager in the Solar Energy industry essential

• Extensive technical knowledge of the implementation of solar focused projects and solutions essential 

• Proven track record of positive sales performance

• Strong communication skills

• The ability to analyze sales data

• Strong management and leadership skills

Responsibilities:

• Head up the Sales Department 

• Work closely with the COO and be part of the decision making process

• Full ownership of position and department

• Implement new software and Improve systems and procedures

• Point of contact with potential clients
