Develop: Understanding and translation of customer and vertical needs (current & emerging), capturing insights to drive Value Proposition development.
Identify cross vertical value elements when building products on area level across client Supply Chain (both standard & customized)
Support front-line sales in a customer-driven approach to identify needs and pain points to drive value proposition development basis analysis of clients' Supply Chain
Work with product teams to develop solutions by providing customer insights, captured from frontline and client engagements
Scale & Apply solutions: Bundling of global and local value propositions into relevant client solutions.
Do resource prioritization – assess client needs against Maersk capability to develop a solution
Offer expert knowledge about analytic methods and data transformation and visualization tools to help create solutions that offer increased visibility
Map end to end client supply chains to identify areas of improvement within the realms of Maersk Integrator Strategy
Institutionalize: Thought Leadership, collaboration & best practice sharing
Develop customer use cases based on vertical insight to drive growth
Build a library of successful value propositions and share best practices
Active participation in the Solutions community, driving best practices and organizational learning across the geographies and verticals
Work in coordination with business development/technical sales, operations, and operations excellence teams to develop logistics solutions and pricing in support of new business growth
Coach account owners around end-to-end Supply Chain selling
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Someone with:
A bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or related discipline
3 to 5+ years of experience in a Supply Chain environment
Considerable experience in designing and mapping complex supply chain solutions
In-depth understanding of supply chain management concepts and services
Effective networker, problem solver and collaborator
Strategic partnering, financial acumen, value co-creator and presentation skills
Energetic personality that easily adapts to change
Innovative & creative mindset
Competent in creating process flows, layouts and simulation models using industry leading software
