Job Description

• Responsible for daily sorting of mixed types of wool according to the NWGA standard.

Requirements:

• Grade 10 – 12
• 2-3 years’ working experience of wool sorting.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse functioning/production
• Be able to sort/type fibre according NWGA standard.
• Knowledgeable about the different types of fibre.
• Physically fit and be able to stand for long hours.
• Be able to follow instructions and worked independently.

Key Functions:

• Sorting
  • Sort all wool according to NWGA wool standard.
  • Ensure that fibre is sorted according to types.
  • Ensure that limited mistakes are made when you sort fibre.
  • Ensure that the minimum requirements are met in terms of the number of bags sorted per day.
• Adhering to the rules and regulations of Health and Safety
• To perform any other ad hoc activities/duties/tasks/ as requested by his/her superior anywhere in the  plant (BKB)
  • Ensure general housing keeping rules are met to maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
