About the job

We are scouting for a dynamic and high-performing individual who is skilled in the use of Native instruments, Reaktor, max/MSP and is proficient in Sound Synthesis and advanced Sound Design to lecture at our College.

You will teach one subject for the 3rd year students and work part time.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Music Technology.

MINIMUM BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

1. 2 to 3 years industry experience

2. Teaching experience a plus

3. Proficiency in the use of Native Instruments Reaktor or Max/MSP

4. Familiarity with all forms of sound synthesis and advanced sound design techniques

MAIN FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Presentation of course material

2. Student support

3. Creation of assessment tools

1. Facilitate completion of third year portfolio showcasing aptitude in Synthesis and sound design

2. Maintain and update curriculum in line with institutional standards

3. Provide support for students

4. Create an enabling learning environment

5. Formulation of engaging teaching aids

6. Updating of content with current trends

7. Provision of feedback
