Job Description

• As a Finance Partnering Manager in Global Finance at GSK you will be offered a great breadth and depth of opportunity and challenge.  Finance provides the partnership, strategic guidance and support services that our business units need to operate efficiently and effectively.  This enables them to focus on developing, manufacturing and delivering medicines, vaccines and products to the patient and consumers who need them.
• Supporting development of a strong Finance Business Partnering organization
• Achieving targets in the area of Data and Reporting within the Business Unit Finance organization.
• Keeping key stakeholders informed of changes impacting the business.
• Collaborate with business partners to investigate requirements and problems and to seek effective business solutions through improvements in data management processes and procedures.
• Drive Monthly Financial data quality management including controls and improvements.
• Design and Manage Business Intelligence and Reporting solution to enable Ad-hoc reporting
• Demonstrating Cross function matrix navigation & management
• Design and Manage Business Intelligence and Reporting solution to enable Ad-hoc reporting
• People Development, Support development of a strong Finance Business Partnering organization
• Manage a team of 15 to 20 analysts/contractors to ensure accurate and timely reporting of data

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA)
• Exposure and experience working in a finance function, including providing financial partnership to a business area or team
• Demonstrated financial knowledge and experience including analysis, evaluation, forecasting, strategic planning and decision making
• Direct experience with financial software and systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA, preferably in Management, Finance or Accounting.
• Strong Analytics training or experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience managing or working with a global team and global stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and compare complex data from multiple sources
• Demonstrated ability to determine and communicate the legal, financial and ethical interpretation of industry regulated principles
