Job Responsibilities    

• Developing of software systems to support business processes Web Server and/or Database Server administration
• Providing support and guidance to fellow developers and end users as well as the determining of future infrastructure requirements
• Responsible for taking high-level business plans, ideas, problems or requirements and translating them into concrete functional specifications, The specifications produced will describe how the solution integrates with both the business processes and products, and the existing IT infrastructure. These specs must then be translated into solutions; these solutions must be tested and implemented. The implemented solutions must be maintained. All bug fixes will be taken through the same process as new requirements, including project management.

Required Certification    
Relevant post-secondary degree or diploma or certificate in IT management, computer science, business management and education.
Qualifications    

• Relevant 3 year Degree/ Diploma (at least NQF level 6)
• Experience    
• 5 Years relevant experience in Information Management, either in a broad technical/ financial/commercial environment including software development
• plus server administration and database administration.

Special Requirements    

• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong project management skills and a demonstrated track record in executing on business strategy.
• Deep understanding of hardware and systems including data centre equipment, servers, desktop PCs, mobile devices, network infrastructure and security tools.
