    Specialist: Cloud FinOps

    Purpose Statement

    To support Cloud Platform engineering and product teams by:

    • Performing cloud cost analysis to optimise cost and general usage/consumption of cloud service across the various teams in the bank
    • Administrating the Cloud Platforms services desk

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • 3 – 5 Years experience in a Cloud FinOps capacity
    • Experience in working with various cloud technologies
    • Experience in relevant costing and reporting tools, IE. PowerBI, Excel

    Ideal:

    • Experience in financial services or banking organisation
    • 5+ years experience in a Cloud FinOps capacity
    • 2 years working with other cloud technologies

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Finance

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology - IT Engineering or Information Technology

    Knowledge

    Minimum:

    • Proper understanding of Cloud Transformation 
    • Understanding cloud cost management (FinOps)
    • Best practice in cloud operations and engineering

    Ideal:

    • Cloud Certification, AWS Solutions Architect Associate
    • Finance and cloud cost management
    • Costing and reporting tooling, IE. Quicksight, CloudHealth
