    Specialist: Digital Analytics Integration (Data Engineering & Analytics)

    Purpose of the Position:

    • To integrate and maintain pipelines between different digital analytics systems to ensure that they work together seamlessly

    Key Performance Objectives

    Technology Selection

    • Work and support the Digital Enablement (DE) and other technical teams, to integrate analytics tools and SDKs into their platforms to enable accurate data collection
    • Maintain existing MarTech and Digital Analytics pipelines, documentation and integrations in line with Group Digital’s (GD) strategic objectives
    • Build and validate new integrations with other MarTech tools (CDP, DMP, GMP, etc.) to ensure that data flow between systems is accurate and always-on
    • Build and maintain documentation of all digital analytics integrations to ensure business continuity
    • Build and action monitoring tools into the pipelines to reduce downtime of integrations
    • Develop integrations using front-end and backend technologies in line with the digital analytics architecture and best practices
    • Document issues and best practices relating to specific platforms or configurations
    • Communicate constantly with stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle, escalating important issues where needed
    • Write logic necessary within target platform (web, app, etc.) to generate required values for implementation of various digital marketing technology platforms
    • Train and coach technical teams on how to implement MarTech and Analytics technology into their applications in line with the Digital Analytics strategy and best practices
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure project deliverable are met to Group Digital’s (GD) satisfaction
    • Work with technical teams to ensure that documentation and implementations are up to date and align to the broader strategy
    • Build a knowledge base for all digital analytics technical implementations and be the custodian and Subject Matter Expert (SME) across the group.

    Qualifications Essentials:

    • Relevant Qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering

    Experience

    • 3-6 years proven experience developing applications and building integrations
    • Experience with backend programming languages e.g., Java, Swift, Objective C, React Native, C#, Python, R, Node
    • Experience with front-end programming languages e.g., Angular, Vanilla JavaScript, React
    • Experience working with source control tools and platforms e.g., Git, SVN, Bitbucket
    • Experience writing middleware and familiarity with patterns and best practices
    • Experience working with Tag Management Systems e.g., GTM, Adobe Launch, etc.
    • Experience building integrations for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Data Management Platforms (advantageous)
    • Experience doing Server-to-Server (S2S) integrations between analytics platforms and client applications
    • Working experience with different Content Management Systems (CMS) e.g., Umbraco, WordPress, etc.
    • Experience integrating APIs and SDK into new and existing applications
    • Proficiency in MLOps and management of data ingestion pipelines (advantageous)
    • Cloud experience – Azure, AWS, Databricks, Azure Functions, Event Hubs and Streaming Analytics (advantageous)
    • Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Einstein Analytics, Datorama (advantageous)
    • Experience with streaming analytics and data pipelines (advantageous)
    • Working experience defining solution architecture (advantageous)
    • Experience with relational (MySQL, SQL Server, etc.), real-time (Firebase) and document databases (e.g., Mongo DB, Couchbase, etc.) and working with data warehouses and/or operational databases to gather data

    Technical Competencies (List the key technical competencies)

    • Technical experience regarding data models, database design development
    • Strong backend programming skills using C#, Java, PHP, Swift, Objective C, Node, etc.
    • Strong front-end programming skills such as JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, etc.
    • Strong web and app development experience with proven track record
    • Experience building cloud functions in Firebase
    • Strong database experience Firebase real-time database, MySQL, Mongo dB, MySQL, SQL Server
    • Strong in building and working with APIs and middleware inside web and app environments
    • Understanding of integrating SDKs into new and existing applications
    • Technical understanding of MarTech tools and integrations
    • Strong in developing and maintaining technical documentation for digital applications
    • Excellent oral and written communication
