Specialist ERP Projects - Johannesburg at South32

Key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

•  Lead and manage the ERP project delivery, relating to both planned and break-in business demand, in collaboration with Digital Technology sub-functions and the broader South32 stakeholders.
•  Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management.
•  Lead the quality assurance of project documentation (project plans, business cases, resource plans, cutover plans, status reports etc).
•  Manage the governed change request process for new ERP developments and enhancements.
•  Ensure the governed change process maintains and supports the simplification and standardisation of processes and data to allow for transparency of performance across all South32 operations.
•  Manage and oversee the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Service level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with South32 objectives and operational excellence.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

•  Must have a minimum of 5 – 7 years’ relevant work experience;
•  Strong project management skills, including experience with project management tools and methodologies;
•  Experience leading ERP Projects and following project governance processes;
•  Demonstrated understanding of the technical systems and how to manage the systems that are required for ERP.

Qualifications for this role are:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification (BTech, Degree etc);
• Project management certification is preferred;
• Relevant SAP/ ERP certification is preferred.
