    Specialist QA Engineer (Senior Tester)

    Description

    • Design automation testing plans and develop automation test scripts for multiple technical products / services (pre, during & post deployment) in both ?Run & Change? contexts and align to chosen application testing frameworks & guidelines. Testing may apply to all or a combination of the following front­end, back­end, integration, performance, scalability and regression testing of solutions. This entails full responsibility for ensuring products are protected through quantifiable test coverage & metrics.


    Duties and responsibilities


    Develop and implement a Quality Assurance test plan.

    •             Create and Maintain a test plan
    •             Good Exposure to Mobile app testing
    •             Establish suitable testing methodology and processes.
    •             Test products and solutions with respect to functionality, reliability, stability and compatibility.
    •             Provide reports on test results with detailed documentation on failed tests.
    •             Provide recommendations for improvements of products and systems where tests fail.
    •             Escalate failed tests to relevant internal stakeholders.
    •             Experience on (UX) design processes and standards.
    •             Usability differences between iOS, Android and Web platforms.
    •             Usability differences between mobile and web screens.
    •             Understanding of general data management
    •             Experience in quality management tools
    •             Working experience on Mainframes is an advantage
    •             Ability to work in a team and with multiple stakeholders.
    •             Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
    •             Able to apply analytical, abstract and creative thinking.
    •             Strong organizational and planning skills.
    •             Ability to work against deadlines and deliverables.

    The below skills are an added advantage

    •             Good knowledge on Webservices
    •             Automation Knowledge
