To conduct vetting investigations, make recommendations on a subject’s security competence by identifying possible security threats and liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Conduct background checks and verifications on all prospective employees.
Collate and analyse checks
Evaluate and make recommendations on whether to use or not to us a shortlisted candidate
Conduct vetting investigations
Provide inputs for the development and implementation of policies, guidelines, norms & standards in vetting investigations.
Administer vetting files and reports.
Partake in task teams dealing with matters relating to vetting projects/processes.
Render administrative support services
Qualifications and Experience
B Degree (NQF 7) in Political Science, Social Science, Economics, Journalism, Law
Completion of a vetting investigations course as offered by SANDF/SSA/SAPS
5 years’ experience operational experience in vetting investigations
