Speech Therapist / Audiologist / Dual Speech and Audiologist Grade 1 Production
Appropriate 4-year Degree in Speech Therapy / Audiology /Dual Qualification In Speech and Audio. Current Registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa in Speech Therapy/Audiology/Dual Speech Therapy and Audiology. Valid driver’s license. Must have completed Community Service.
Duties :
Rendering Speech therapy and/ or Audiology Services as well as therapeutic services in the district that complies with Norms and standards as indicated by the health department. Provide community-based Rehabilitation and therapeutic services with the focus on health promotions, Prevention and intervention.
The candidate will also be expected to implement Home Visits. Screening and Treatment. Work in a multidisciplinary team within the primary health, care or Community health care facilities.
The candidate must have a better understanding of quality assurance audit tools, National Rehabilitation policy and National Core Standards. Complete his/her statistics, annual and monthly reports. Attend and participate in monthly Meetings and CPD presentations. Disabled persons can apply.
