• Develop and implement a strategy for conducting psychiatric nursing groups and other programs in Nursing. Assist in the implementation of mentoring and coaching programs for the nursing staff. Support all programs within the Sub District on Mental Health Promotions. Participate in committees as delegated. Submit quality training reports according to set standards. Co-ordinate training for the institution in line with the Skills Development Act and other related legislation.
• Assist Nursing Management with the implementation of the Professional Ethos & Ethics Program which is aligned to the National Nursing Strategy 2020/21-2025/26. Duties :

• Establish and maintain security governance framework, policies, procedures and standards. Monitor and report on compliance with ICT governance policies and standards.

• Establish a system to monitor the implementation of NDoH and GDoH Infection Prevention and Control policy guidelines by healthcare facilities in Gauteng Province and facilitate the review of existing protocols/SOPs.
• Facilitate IPC research, surveillance, monitoring and evaluation of Infection Prevention and Control program. Establish provincial IPC committee and revive and support the existing Infection Prevention and Control committees in the healthcare facilities.
• Develop a costed IPC Plan for Gauteng Department of Health. Compile monthly, quarterly and annual Infection Prevention and Control reports. Undertake/Conduct infection surveillance, routine data collection and analysis for management intervention.
