Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma / Degree in Information Technology / Computer Sciences, equivalent NQF level 6 IT related qualification with working experience between 2 - 3 years in Information Communication Technology Support.
Required Skills and Qualifications, Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments, TCP/IP, and printer driver troubleshooting.
Experience: 2–3 years in office administration and IT support, specifically with office automation systems. Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel). Administrative Ability: Ability to generate reports on expenditure and manage vendor relationships. Communication Strong interpersonal skills for helping users with printing issues. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Duties :
Technical Support: Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting printers, scanners, and multi-function devices. Network & Driver Management: Managing print servers, configuring TCP/IP settings, and updating printer drivers.
System Administration: Monitoring print usage, managing print queues, and optimizing print workflows. Asset Management - Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all printing hardware (asset list).
Consumable Control Monitoring and ordering toner, paper, and other printing supplies. Production Tasks Performing binding, collating, cutting, and folding, particularly in a corporate print room environment.
Liaison with stakeholders – internal and external. Provide minor technical support to other directorates. Liaise with health facilities on printer leasing arrangements and contract expiry matters. Offer guidance on ordering processes and RT3 contract payments. Prepare RLSO1 and RLSO2 documentation.
