Appropriate qualification that allows for required registration with HPCSA in Speech Therapy & Audiology.
Completion of Community Service and no experience required after registration with HPCSA. Independent practice registration with HPCSA for 2024/2025.
Duties :
To render speech therapy and audiology services in the district that complies with the norms and standards as indicated by the Health department.
Provide community based Speech Therapy and Audiology services with the focus on health promotions, prevention and intervention. ECI screening and treatment.
Work in a multidisciplinary team within the healthcare facility. Hearing screening and diagnostic assessments. Hearing aid fittings and aural rehabilitation.
The candidate must have an understanding of quality assurance audit tools and ideal hospitalization assessment tools.
Good professional attitude/ conduct, good communication skills, good professional ethics, teamwork and good medical record keeping. Preferably fluent in African languages
Expected to do: Speech Therapy and Audiology services Mondays to Fridays (07H30-16H00).
