SPH Facilities Assistant

- City Durban
- Job Field Engineering / Technical
Main Focus Areas
- The Facilities assistant is responsible for general repairs and maintenance and cleaning of Hospital property
Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)
- Performing unsupervised basic maintenance of Hospital facilities and equipment.
- Unsupervised task will include (but not limited to):
- Repairs, Maintenance of refrigeration, air-conditioning
- Cleaning of Air-Conditioning filters and ducts
- Servicing of cooling towers and hair handler units
- General Cleaning and maintenance of Hospital property
- Ensuring that public areas are well maintained
- Assisting the Technical Manager with the maintenance and repairs of the hospital plant and equipment when is required.
Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
- Basic knowledge and skills with all tools found in facility
- 1-2 years' experience in similar/ related position
