SRE Container Lead at Bank of America

Job Description

The team member is primarily responsible for providing SRE support for container and Openshift application. This role will participate in daily team collaborations and work closely with GBS and US stakeholders, drive projects independently and will also facilitate business decisions by highlighting opportunities and identifying cause and effect relationships. Members is also suppose to remove any toil from system.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to lead SRE Support for Container/OpenShift
• Perform security scan and validation on container images.
• Hand-hold client during application onboarding on Openshift and integrate with CI/CD platform.
• Execute different work order in a lucid manner and is relevant to business use cases
• Ability to work cross-functionally, and across borders to effectively execute the goals
• Partner with technical teams to implement and develop SRE solutions for BofA Cloud

Requirements

Education: B.E. / B.Tech

Experience Range: 12+ Years

Foundational skills

• At least 3 year of recent experience with RedHat OpenShift 4.x administration and cluster management
• 6+ years of experience with RedHat Linux RHEL 7/8
• Strong experience of CI/CD methodologies and toolsets & Jenkin.
• 2+ years of experience in Shell scripting /Python/Ansible development
• Knowledge on Prometheus / ELK monitoring and log management tools

Desired skills

• Good understanding on Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud offerings
• Good knowledge of different SRE Technologies/Tools
• Understand Agile methodology and SLO/SLA reporting.
