Description
This role is key to the overall flow and functioning of the campus. The key responsibilities come together to support the Learning Coach, Campus manager, and students on campus. The Campus Assistant is passionate about creating structure and organisation in the space. They are able to think on their feet and problem solve collaboratively to ensure that the student’s learning space is safe and conducive to learning.
Cycle Test, Invigilation & Concessions Support
Creating assessment invigilation schedules and venue allocations
Compiling campus specific cycle test schedules
Printing and preparing cycle tests and examinations
Supporting the campus staff with assessment invigilation
Supporting the campus staff with implementing concessions on campus
Supervision & Monitoring Support
Assisting with the entrance and exit of external service providers and other visitors
Checking how many students remain in the space after 3pm
Supervising and monitoring students in the campus space after 3pm
Letting students out of the campus for early pick up
Letting students into the campus if arriving after 9am
Operational & Administrative Support
Tracking in-person attendance on campus on a daily basis (Master Tracking Sheet - MTS)
Tracking which students have filled in COVID-19 forms before entering the learning space (COVID-19 Google Form) on a daily basis
Administering behaviour points to students (Classcraft)
Following up with guardians if student is supposed to be present on campus (Talkdesk)
Phoning a guardian if a student has fallen ill on campus to arrange for pick up (Talkdesk)
Filling in daily/weekly campus-related Key Performance Indicators (Dashboards)
Populating the Master Tracking Sheet with non-attendance and non-submission data from Looker
Requirements
Education and Experience:
Experience working with and/or supporting adolescents
A commitment to professional growth
An interest in teaching or the online education field overall
Undergraduate degree beneficial
