Responsibilities

Job Overview:

• Inspect the condition of pallets before use to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
• Check and record the weight of bags manually to maintain accurate documentation.
• Verify that the correct product bar-code is applied to all items to ensure proper identification and traceability.
• Perform routine checks to ensure printers are in good working condition.
• Confirm the proper presentation and packaging of products.
• Inspect pallet condition prior to use to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Verify and manually record bag weights as required.
• Ensure accurate product barcodes are applied to all items.
• Maintain neat and secure wrapping of barcoded products.
• Stack pallets in a straight and organized manner to optimize storage and transport.
• Check the integrity of wrapped products before despatch.

Qualifications

• Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification.
• 12 months’ experience in a similar environment.
• Health and safety standards.
