A Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent to matric and an appropriate Diploma or Degree at NQF Level 6 in Financial Accounting or Management, or related field as recognised by SAQA.
Three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience in bookkeeping or financial reporting. A valid driver’s licence. COMPETENCIES: Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, DORA, BAS and SAP. Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Duties :
Perform bank and suspense account reconciliations. Prepare and capture journals. Safeguard financial documents. Liaise with banks and stakeholders. Oversee the processing of payments of students e in accordance to the College fee structure.
Bookkeeping or Financial reporting. Supervision of staff performance, leave administration, discipline and development. Compile management reports and participate in strategic planning processes.
