As a minimum a National Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Finance/Accounting or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification. A minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in Public Finance. Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, Walker Financial Management System, Public Service Act and Public Service Regulations.
DUTIES :
Receive and capture manual revenue and expenditure cash books of Traditional Authorities. Capture rectifying journals on Walker system. Reconcile deposits and payments in the cashbooks to the bank statement. Ensure correct allocation of grants/salaries to the cashbooks. File posted cash books and journals.
