We at RCL FOODS are in search for a Stock Control Clerk to join our Vector Logistics Division. The role will be based in Hammarsdale PBCS P2 and report to the Warehouse Controller . RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent to issue and receipt stock and refrigerated/chiller stock management and rotation.

Minimum Requirements   

  Matric       

• Basic Computer literacy would be an advantage

Skills & Knowledge

• SAP
•  Must have Scanning knowledge (Set up and use in SAP)
•  Use of Hand Held Scanner for Stock Taking
•   Knowledge of Stock Counts and Activation of Stock Count with Scanners
•   Set up Walk Sequene for Hand Hand Scanner
•  Computer literacy (MS Office)
•   Customer Service oriented
•   Stock control experience will be highly advantageous
•   Accurate and with a high attention to detail
•    Able to work within Operation and Admin Teams

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Freezer and chiller stock management and rotation
• Activation of Stock Counts in SAP for Scanning in Freezer
• Stock reconciliation and materials handling
• Maintaining of ISO / HACCP health and safety and hygiene standards
•  General cleaning and housekeeping
•   Assisting of customers if necessary
• Assistance to the Team to locate F01 Stocks within the Freezer
• Able to work in Extreme Cold Conditions
• Information and Data Management
• Accurately and regularly capture data into the information system to enable access to reliable data and  reporting for trend analysis and decision making.

Ad hoc Administration

  Compile ad hoc spread sheets and reports.

• File and safeguard records within area of responsibility.
• Assistance to the Team for Pallet and Crates Counts.
• On the job Training to the Team for Scanning of Stock and Bins.

Safety and Security

•    Comply with applicable company policies including those pertaining, but not limited to health, safety, environment, risk and quality, including HACCP/ISO.
•    Safeguard the stock in the warehouse at all times against loss and damage.
•    Conduct housekeeping in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Timekeeping

• Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning and prioritising, and self-development.
• Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained.
• Inform relevant parties in the event of tasks or deadlines not met, the potential risks thereof and provide appropriate resolution.
• Demonstrate willingness to help others and “go the extra mile” to meet team targets and objectives.
