    Stock Controller - Ford Hermanus

    Job Advert Summary    

    • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stock Controller at our Ford & GWM dealership in Hermanus. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of our dealership's inventory, as well as assisting in the procurement and distribution of vehicle stock.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Previous experience as a stock controller within the automotive industry essential
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of automotive industry trends and terminology imperative
    • Strong administrative & multi-tasking skills
    • Assertiveness & Supervisory skills required
    • Basic accounting knowledge
    • Must be able to perform under pressure
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, including tracking arrivals, departures, and location.
    • Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Co-ordinate with sales, and finance departments to ensure timely and efficient processing of vehicle transactions.
    • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to facilitate the procurement of vehicles and parts as needed.
    • Implement and maintain effective stock control procedures to optimise inventory management processes.
    • Provide support during physical inventory counts and reconcile inventory variances
    • Vehicle Invoicing & Creditors processing
