Stock Controller at Hyundai Automotive South Africa

Position Overview:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Stock Controller.
• The Stock Controller will be responsible for overseeing the inventory levels of the company, ensuring accurate stock counts, and monitoring supplies to ensure optimal stock levels at all times.
• This role will require strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels for all products in the warehouse or store.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies in inventory.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock and manage stock rotation.
• Track and analyze stock movements to identify trends and make recommendations for improved efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain stock reports, including forecasting stock requirements and ordering new products when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to stock control and inventory management.
• Implement and maintain best practices for stock control and inventory management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in stock control or inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of stock control best practices and inventory management processes.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in stock control in Automative Industry
