Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent qualification with no experience. Knowledge of customer service, self-driven and motivated. Must be able to read and write. Ability to communicate at all levels (good communication skills).
Other Skills/Requirements- Customer care, interaction skills, ability to work in a team as well as working alone. Knowledge of OHS Act. Ability to work under pressure. Experience in a Hospital environment will be an added advantage.
Duties :
Distribution of newly acquired stock and equipment’s to the wards and other hospital sections. Distribution of stock to the end user, Pack shelves in relevant warehouse, ensure that stock received is packed appropriately and rotated.
Safeguarding of inventory items, keeping a neat and tidy store according to OHS regulations. Immediate updates of bin card. Apply FIFO method. Assist with the inventory stock taking. Effective communication with fellow team members and relevant stakeholders within the institution.
