Job Description

• Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for stock management, agricultural commodities, and operational excellence? Join our dynamic team and take ownership of our warehouse and yard operations while driving sales and customer service excellence.
• The ideal team player will be responsible to manage the stock in warehouses and yard to ensure accurate loading and offloading of stock while maintaining a high standard on housekeeping.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF 4
• Relevant tertiary qualification would serve as advantage
• Previous experience in Agri warehousing will serve as recommendation
• Knowledge about Agricultural commodities (Animal Feed, Fertiliser and Bulding Materials and more)
• Orientation towards housekeeping and accurate stock keeping (loading and offloading)
• Willing to undergo continuous training
• Afrikaans and English proficient will serve as recommendation

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that loading and offloading of stock from the yard and warehouses comply with policies and procedure.
• Marketing and selling of agricultural commodities
• Maintaining optimal stock control 
• Ensure correct volumes of stock are on hand and stock rotation takes place as per policies and procedures.
• Daily walk abouts and inspections to ensure premises are neat and tidy and adhere to standards of VKB Group.
• Leading and supporting a team to achieve operational goals
• Maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring stock integrity
• Ensure compliance to health and safety policies and procedures
• Other ad-hoc job-related duties
