A well-established organisation in the built environment sector is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Storeman to support stock control, inventory management, and day-to-day store operations.
This role is ideal for an organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory processes.
Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12
Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or inventory control environment in the built environment
Basic computer literacy with exposure to inventory systems and Excel
Understanding of stock control and inventory management principles
Physically fit and comfortable performing manual handling duties
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming stock
Pick, pack, issue, and allocate stock against operational requirements
Conduct stock counts and assist with stock reconciliations
Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies or damaged stock
Coordinate with procurement and operational teams
Ensure stores areas remain organised, compliant, and safety-focused
