Student (Architectural Internship)(JHB North) at GIBB Engineering and Architecture

During the 12-month internship you will develop the following skills and competencies:

• Autodesk AEC Revit software: attain basic user skills by month 3.
• Autodesk AEC Revit software: attain intermediate skills by month 12.
• Autodesk construction cloud skills in 6months.
• Architectural Services, PROCSA work stages 1 – 6: work effectively in a minimum of 2 (preferably 3) work stages areas during the year.
• Become an integral and productive member of a delivery team within 4 months and develop a capacity to deliver that aligns with the team requirements.
• Architectural skills: Acquire commercially based skills in architectural planning and design, detailing, graphics and managing consultant information.
• Re-admission: to engage the practice so that the student’s portfolio of evidence presented to the University at year end has been overviewed and is of a standard to ensure re-admission.

Requirements:            

• SVA International is looking for candidates studying towards their post graduate degree in Architecture. 

Eligibility Requirements:

• SA Citizen, please attach a copy of ID to your application
• Strong academic portfolio (Bachelors/Honours) completed at a recognised South African institution.
• Younger than 35 years old.

• Be based in Gauteng, close to or residing in Johannesburg and able to travel daily to the office.
